Photography lens suggestions ?

specific question, portrait fashion photography, 85mm lens (portrait) , 50mm lens (fashion) preferable. don't need zooms 200 or 300mm, because you'll use in portrait , fashion. want lens have constant aperture. if got 18-200 lens, aperture range of 3.5 @ 18mm, 4.5 or 6.7 @ 200. so, if wanted shoot @ 4.0 day, limited in zoom range can go to.
plus, prime lenses sharper because have fewer glass elements in them.

keep in mind, camera has field of view crop factor of 1.5. so, lens get, need multiply focal range 1.5. so, 50 mm lens act 75mm on full frame camera. need 35mm lens act 50 mm lens.

sum up: doing, 2 prime lenses same price zoom mentioned, , you'll have more control on aperture , sharper images. (plus, using prime lenses forces learn more framing being lazy zoom lens. result in expanding artist expression through photography.)

i student photographer looking new lens or two. focus portrait , fashion photography, want great around lens. shoot nikon d80. suggestions , why lens ?
