How to make pencils flame retardant?

if you're planning make sculpture that's on fire don't think pencils survive long no matter do. i'd lot better if made realistic pencils made metal , painted on. soaking pencils in flame retardant coating should help, houses , other things catch on fire easily. try buying @ local hardware store.

i absract art sculptor need know how make wood , things pencils resist catching fire sculpture please help
