Does the Mazda Miata have good acceleration compared to faster cars?

miata not fastest car on acceleration, dollar dollar can not beat!
difference in price, not in purchase price in ownership, can live difference. if need more acceleration supercharger can purchased , installed. think grand total less honda s2000.

i wondering, mazda miata better or faster @ acceleration compared cars can go higher speeds. short ratio gearbox on sports cars designed acceleration , not speed, mazda miata 1 of these cars?
