Car audio help asap please help?

no george think aaron got question right. questions description sounds constant power needed not switched. if plug switched power source headunit's constant input thing never remember of settings program it. disconnecting battery every time car shut off, seems foolish. head unit requires both switched , constant power supply. if looking constant source, fuse tap constant power source fuse panel. aaron right, can use volt meter ensure in fact constant supply. not knowing kind of car have or add ons might have cant tell best guess use common sense , never tap important safety purposes, headlights.

if in fact trying find switched power supply, guess since seems odd car radio doesnt have constant supply, use same method of fuse taping windshield wipers on fuse panel , running separate wire radio. ensure windshield wipers work on both accessory , on position use volt meter , make sure reading on both key positions (i mention because accord windshield wipers work when car on , not in accessories).
