Another car audio preout question...?

preout's voltage how strong signal when leaves head unit. stronger signal cleaner is. higher end head units have higher voltage , cleaner sound. why there no standard preout voltages. cheap head units skimp on sound quality keep costs low. amp have gain adjustment on it. gain for. not volume control. numbers there match preout voltage. that's why gets louder when turn dial smaller number.

answer question is: car audio amplifiers should work head units because of gain adjustment matches amplifier head unit.
