NETWORK PRINTER CONNECTION GETS DISCONNECTED WHEN SHUT DOWN?

assuming have connected regular standalone printer pc , configured pc work print server. in such case disconnected when shut down server

if install network printer, have it's own network connection , won't have depend on other system network access. or can go printer server that's connected printer on 1 side , network on other.

network printer connected default gets disconnected once shut down,,what steps troubleshoot problem
