My printer won't turn on...?

hi there,

have had canon mp600 printer little less 3 years , printing document today, when printer shut off.

went on turn on and, obviously, wouldn't.

thought, "okay, maybe it's power cord." power cord turned out fine, did outlet had plugged into.

here am, sitting @ desk typing out message, absolutely no idea problem printer possibly be.

i had wager one, guess either circuitry malfunction in printer or wrong printer's ac unit.

thoughts?
