If i'm sending a letter to the u.s from canada do I only need one stamp?

clear...if sending letter canada us, using canadian stamps not american ones. value of stamps more normal canada stamp.

send standard letter usa, go post office (or local pharmacy has postage stamps), , them give postage letter going usa. should give stamp costs $1.00 plus tax, @ current rates.

option put 2 regular stamps on (domestic rate $0.57 presently) , enough canada post deliver it.

so american stamp.
