2000 NISSAN XTERRA 4WD STALLS?

sounds transmission issue, or since electric, might computer problem. theres no check engine lights?? if there are, ask auto zone give reading. if not, no suggestions, take reliable shop.

realized, when put in 4wd mode, turning on power remaining front wheels... or rear, whichever 2wd, means more torque, more resistance on engine. maybe lack of air. check spark plugs. got tuneup lately? not big problem

i bought 2000 nissan xterra 100k..have had 1 week runs great today put car in 4wd mode , started running rough stalling......i put in 2wd , started running fine...i m new 4wd....would big problem?????????????
