Is Chinese history taught in your country?

children took ap world history @ american high school, , spent several weeks on china. (ap stands advanced placement, , allows high school students chance earn college credit while in high school -- these classes more in-depth regular high school classes.)

edit -- also, in sixth grade, california public school students take world history, several weeks on china. both kids , read "the earth" in school.

might guess, american public schools don't teach revolution, or modern chinese history...

in country, chinese history taught in history classes? history of china included in history books? how history courses teach chinese history? lot, few pages, or none?
