have 27 foot azure boat enjoy taking lake powell. boat handles waves in intense storms. thinking trailering our boat california boat on ocean. have no experience ocean , have no idea how our boat react large waves. have vhf radio on boat, 70 gal. fuel tank, , gps chart-plotter. if boat on ocean, how far should go out , there information need know? also, additional equipment should before go?
