united states took on lot of caribbean , central american countries @ turn of 20th century. should have kept those. also, when conquered mexico int 19th century should have annexed it, instead of did (install friendly government). should have annexed of south america , central america, along caribbean. no different except united states bigger , better is. america best country ever without doubt , super power left in world. of suffering third-world countries in central , south america (including mexico).

have used manifest destiny , eminent domain justifications take on entire new world, possible exception of canada since british colony @ time , may have sparked third british-american war. also, perhaps not greenland since spark war denmark. of course, annex canada , greenland too, them may wait while. mean no different now. keep regional names , languages of territories captured, merely make them states. instance brazil still brazil, , people there still speak portuguese regional language (but english taught in schools primary language). respect , honor local cultures , ethnic groups of land.
